RACE RESULTS – SUPER STREET RACE #6
Greetings Race Fans, JRN Racing had another good showing the past couple of races with more second place runs. Randy has run great races in the past couple. We almost took a win away on July 25th pulling within a car length. Our race on August 11, we had our best qualifying time all season, of 19.082, only to be bested by another competitor with a 19.078. We could not race that night because weather & rain cancelled racing before we ran.
Current Randy is solidly in second in the point’s standings, but unfortunately with Jamie not able to race until his car is finished, he is falling off in the point’s battle.
Jamie’s new car is well underway in construction. The chassis has been cleaned up and the body is ready to go one for roll cage installation. Progress has been affected by work obligations of chief mechanic and crew chief Doug. Our hope is to have it out by the seasons’ end. I know Jamie is chomping at the bit to get back in the car.
Our next race is this Saturday, August 22, 2009. We are racing at 5 pm this night because of the special night where the UARA Late Models will be running a 250 lap Race followed by racing again next weekend on August 29th. Please come and join us.
